You need git, python3, curl or wget, a C compiler and a Nerd Font. Every tool the installer fetches is checked against a pinned SHA-256 before it's used. Version 1.50.4; free under The Unlicense, with the source on GitHub.
What it does
- Git in the file listing
- Every file shows its status and the last person to change it, beside a live changes box and the branch's recent history.
- Changes, down to the word
- Stage or unstage whole files or single hunks, discard and commit. Within a changed line, only the words that differ light up.
- History and stashes
- Browse any branch, open a commit, cherry-pick it or undo the last one. Create, apply and drop stashes.
- A safety catch
- Anything that changes your files asks for a random two-digit code first, so a stray key can't throw work away.
- Neovim to match
- Open a file at the right line, step through changes inline, and pick from five themes that recolour everything together.
The keys you'll use most
- enterthe changes browser
- ;the commit history
- sthe stash browser
- /find files by name, \ search inside them
- →open a folder, or a file in Neovim
- hevery key, q quit
